Online Divorce or Legal Separation

Hi, does anyone have any experience/feedback about legal separation and/or online divorces please.

Did a google, but just wondered if it was "too good to be true".

Thanks

Not sure what it is you mean but 8 years ago hubby divorced his wife using forms we got online

We had to file them at the county court as normal but the clerk was most impressed with the quality and layout

The paper work was free to download that the time. You just answered some questions online and you were directed to the paper work you needed
  • Actually that really helps. One site I found charged £69 but if you can download the form for free, then take them to court yourself that makes it even cheaper. Thank you.

You can download the forms for free from the court service website, or call into the court offices and collect them for free.
Here I go again on my own....

All the information and required forms are on the courts website. It is £300 to issue divorce and £40.00 for Decree absolute so any site that quotes £69 will no doubt have these charges in the small print. They are unavoidable unless you are fee exempt ie on a low income or in receipt of certain benefits. You should be able to do it yourself if your not going to get a solicitor.
