Video/Satellite sender Questions

Hi,
I have heard about these sender thingys, but dont know anything about them and am hoping someone can help me.

I have NTL on my main TV downstairs, and would like to watch it on my TV in the bedroom.

Are these senders compatable with NTL?
Would i be able to change the tv channel from the bedroom?
Could i watch a different channel on each TV at the same time?

Nomally yes

You can pick up a nice cheap Video Sender from Aldi this week. This is the link, but look at it as soon as you can, because these specials don't last more than a few days on their website (nor in their stores)

I'm interested in this topic too, see my similar post a few days ago. I've got a Telewest cable connection. I've also got a Sony 710 DVD recorder with a built-in Freeview device. Would I be able to use the Aldi sender with either or both of these?
Argos have boxes at a variety of prices, would their cheaper ones be any better? These are called TV senders whereas the Aldi one is called a Video sender. Any difference?

pretty much all digisenders will transmit the NTL picture from the box around the house. However the majority will not allow you to change the channels due to NTL using a different IR setup to most(Sky etc). Some are compatible but do check or buy the magic eye convertors that are offered with some video senders if you desperately need that functionality.

PLEASE HELP

I can not figure this out.

I have got the wires/leads in the following places

TX

The Red, White & Yellow Wires from the sender go into the RWY female leads on the double scart adaptor. The scart from my Sky box is also plugged into the double scart adaptor and then into my TV.

RX

The RWY wires go straight into the RX Scart and then into my TV.
I have not connected the aerial to the Sender.

I have a portable aerial and a Video as well.

The leads normally go from the portable aerial to the video ad then from the video to the TV.


Please help me out on this one.

Hopefully I have made a simple mistake.

Can anyone help
