Help me! Booking a Holiday in Costa Teguise, lanzarote

Hi Guys,
I'm hoping to go away for a couple of weeks to Costa Teguise in January, and the place looks great but I don't wanna put any money down until i'm totally sure of where to stay.
So, i'm looking for recommendations of places to stay, the few I've looked at are: Club Siroco, los zocos, celeste and el guarapo (?) but I can't decide on anywhere specific. It'll just be me and my dad so we don't need anywhere big but I'd love somewhere near the beach and close to the bars and restaurants.
Hope thats not too much to ask
TIA:T

Cant really tell you much about lanzarote as I have never been but would like to tell you I have just booked a weeks stay at los zocos with first choice for middle of January. If you can fly from Birmingham it works out very cheap. I saved over £400 by flying from Birmingham rather than Manchester. Have a look on their website and see if its any use to you.
Los Zocos has mixed reviews but the most recent seem to be ok as it has had some refurbishment this year.

Club Siroco is a great base, nice clean, good pool etc, I enjoyed it there.
look arround though for prices and make sure you compare the TOTAL price, not the headline prices of some companies, who when you get to the final page add loads on... (first choice & Thomas Cook are always doing it!)
check www.bookme2.co.uk & www.freedomdirect.co.uk they include luggage allowances any late booking fees etc in the prices, so the price you see is the price you pay0 -
We stayed at the Lazarote Bay Hotel at Costa Teguise about 4yrs ago in January. The Hotel was great, good food, quiet location. We were quite lucky, on arrival they started giving out wristbands at reception for all inclusive, we had only paid for half board so did not expect to get one, but low and behold they gave us one each. So it turned out to be a very cheap holiday indeed;).
The hotel is about 5min walk from the sea front & at the time they ran a free bus to Teguise town centre.

Booked my holiday with First Choice last night and after reading warrington-mikes post I compared same holiday details with bookme and freedomdirect and First Choice came out over £300 cheaper.0

thats great guys, thanks!
I've been to lanza once before, stayed at costa teguise at Los Zocos - it was really nice! I'm not one for laying by the pool so I didn't spend much time in the actual complex, but it was very clean, very well kept and the staff were lovely. Its very close to bars and shops too, and the beach
We would stay there again, but I just wanted to know if there was anywhere else that was good. I think we might end up at Club Siroco. I think i'll take martins advice though and wait another week or so and see if the prices drop any.0
