If you can't use the tokens towards set meals, does that mean it excludes the childrens' menu? My daughter is only 6, I can't see her eating an entire pizza!
If my husband and I went and ordered pizza and dessert and that came to around £20, could the drinks and the kids meal be settled with cash? Can it all be on the same bill?
Please advise!
PS Can you book tables?
ok
1) yes you can book tables
2) yes the remainder can be settled with cash and it can all be on the same bill
3) not sure as to whether or not it excludes childrens meals as a set meal i doubt it unless a childrens meal is a main and dessert and drink or something along those lines
best thing to do is search for the one you want to go to on their website and ring them up!;)keep calm and carry on :rotfl:

Went tonight with my six year old who had a great time!
As advised, checked the website first and then phoned them to ask about the Deals Vouchers (which they seemed be quite familiar with - it's a University town). As advertised, Deals Vouchers can't be used against the costs of drinks, coffees etc. and probably not the kids meal either as it's a set menu consisting of baked dough balls, a pizza and a desert served with hot milk. However, my husband and I both had a starter, main course and desert so more than enough 'adult' food to offset the Vouchers.
Booked a table no problem. The restaurant consigned us to the 'well' area at the back which seemed to be reserved for anyone with children aged 15 or under, so it was quite noisy. Service was slow, but they didn't forget anything and seemed to be quite efficient.
Cost of 2 adult starters, 2 adult main courses (one pizza, one lasagne), two adult deserts, one beer, one lemonade, one tap water (which they didn't charge for) one kids meal and a cappuchino came to £41.25, used £20 of Deals vouchers and left just under £25 cash including tip (all I had on me at the time).
Nice touch was that they served the kids frothed hot milk (dusted with chocolate) with my husband's cappuchino and it came in an expresso cup with a spoon, so my daughter felt quite grown up.
Dunno if I would have felt it was quite such good value if I had to shell out £41.25 in cash, but with £20 off quite a good deal and would do it again if Tesco offered it again in the future.
Didn't get more than £20 in deals Vouchers because a) It was an experiment and b) I don't shop in Tesco enough so rarely get more than £8 in shopping vouchers anyway. I find ASDA is much cheaper!!0 -
If this deal finishes at the end of Jan. as I have heard does this mean will be gone by the next wave of vocuhers being sent out? Thank you0

I'm going to trade in 12.50 worth of clubcard points next time around for this amazing deal...
In 2010, I'll start drinking less beer in restaurants, massively cuts down on the bill (large beer in Pizza Express costs over 5 pounds!!).
went last week, 2 pizzas with a large sparkling water = 15 pounds inc. tips (the Pizza took about 30 minutes or so to make + didn't have lunch that day).0
