Dubai Best way to get from Airport to Cruise Terminal?

Can anyone assist? I am taking a cruise from Dubai and transfers from the airport are not included. Can anyone advise the best/cheapest way to get from the airport to the cruise terminal. A taxi from the airport seems very expensive if it is pre-booked so is it cheaper to get a bus into the centre and then get a taxi from here?

Any assistance/advice appreciated.

Seems you had your query answered on virtualtourist.
I was going to advise that taxi is the best and is reasonably priced. It can take a long time to get around in the traffic if you arrive at the busiest times of day.
I think on that cruise you spend a night or two docked in Dubai anyway so you will get used to the taxis unless they transfer you in.

as said above taxis are v cheap in Dubai but it takes forever to get anywhere.
you can semi nagotiate with the driver but the metering is v good there.
buses are ok but not brill. good luck

Hi,
Surprising but true - petrol is cheaper than water in Dubai!!!! As the other posters have already said, Taxis are extremely cheap. Don't hesitate to use them, I can almost predict you will not be ripped off. Ask on the Trip Advisor forum if anyone can help with an approximate price for your own peace of mind. Sally

Thanks to all now happy that taxi's I was told the opposite from someone who obviously did not really know.
