Hi, I have just under 3k owing on my card and want to transfer balance over to a card that offers 0% for a period of time.
Which is the best deal besides virgin, as i already have a virgin card and cannot transfer it to that.

Not only can you not transfer your debt to Virgin, which is run by MBNA, you can't transfer it to *any* MBNA run card.Cashcade wrote:Which is the best deal besides virgin, as i already have a virgin card and cannot transfer it to that.
So this would rule out, amongst many others, MBNA, A&L, Abbey, etc. To ensure you don't waste a credit search, check out 'who owns who' first at https://www.stoozing.com/cards.htm0 -
I should have been more clearer. The card in Question is Morgan Stanley.0

My MBNA Gold Visa card has served me well for many years. They seem to offer 0% balance transfers to existing card holders every year for six month terms. I have just moved 95% of my credit limit (26.5k) into my first direct savings account (5.00%EAR) for a fee of £50. Monthly minimum repayments are around £50 to maintain my 0% offer so my savings account remains earning interest daily (credited monthly) on a very large balance. The only thought in the back of my mind is to give it back to MBNA in June when the offer ends!! Or I Pay a lot of interest!!!!0

Just another Q. I've got just under 3k owing on current card. Curently, I pay about £50+ in interest per month, and minimum is about £80-90.
If i did transfer the bal on a 0%, would that mean i would ahve no interest payments to make for the 0% time period providing i make the minimun payment, which will go towards clearing my bal rather than the gross interest?
Thanks0
