Leaking Shower pump
thanks
Posts: 174 Forumite
hi all,
There was a big leak from a hole in the hot water outlet pipe of the Shower pump. So I removed it and has put end caps for the time being and now there seems to be slight leak from the Pump itself. It is Wickes Twin shower pump 1.3 bar. I don't have the manual. After reading about it, it is likely to be due to washers or seals. I am planning to replace the outlet pipe but a little unsure about what to do with the leak from the pump itself. Is it a DIY job or does it need the experts?
Thanks

If its the seals some are replaceable and some are not, depends on the model. Its not to difficult to take them apart to recondition. Just depends on how good you are at mechanics i guess.
Spares for some wickes models can be obtained here;
