Technika. Setting up help needed.

Please help!!!

At present I have a T.V. an NTL desk top cable box and a VHS Video all connected and working. I have now purchased the above DVD recorder which I would like to work alongside all the above,

Can this be done?

Acting on advice I ran a scart from the NTL box to DVD then to VHS Video then to Tele. Television worked but nothing else.

All help gratefully received

Chris

Why not just replace your video with your dvd recorder?.

If you've only got two scarts on the DVD then it's NTL-->DVD and DVD-->TV. Attach your Video scart direct to the TV. Don't run your DVD through the Video.

If you are running out of Scarts then it's either use composite leads or component/audio leads or a Scart splitter.

If you want to copy Home Made videos then either composite into DVD or scart splitter so it shares the NTL input.

    Hope this makes sense!

No problem at all. I've lived through the cable jungle and sometimes it needs an independant voice, before you use the cables for other purposes!

Hope your system works great now!
