Unable to reply to my work emails?

I can log onto my work email from home and I have no problem reading the emails but I cannot reply to them through my work email from home (hope that makes sense)?
Because of the nature of my work I do not want to reply from my personal email so how can I reply through work email address. It lets me read the email and also lets me click on reply but won't allow my to type in the box at all?

How do you view this e-mail?

Website? VPN Client? Outlook?

I have two methods of viewing and replying to my work e-mail (plus calendar, contacts, etc). 1) Website, like your hotmail or googlemail. 2) Connect my work laptop to the internet and then VPN into the corporate network, using outlook to get my e-mail.

Yeah I think the work It people will be able to help me when I get back to work later in the week I'm just being impatient.

I am not very techi so I am not sure how I am accessing it other than I am with AOL and I am logged onto the net via Internet Explorer and I am logging onto my works website then clicking a link for staffs webmail?

Ah.. Sounds like a website you use to log onto your works e-mail account. Are you clicking on the REPLY button on the website you are using to view the e-mail?

I have and they just say they click on reply and they are able to type a reply and send it. But mine does allow me to click on reply, a reply box comes up but there is just no cursor to allow me to type.

I will just have to wait til I can take my laptop into work for IT to look at it.
