Help!!!

Daughter was playing a game on the laptop and has obviously hit the wrong key(s) and the screen is all messed up.

Its exactly the same as you would view it normally, but has shifted itself 90 degrees, so its now all sideways. I cannot find anything in the help section to get this back the right way!

I have tried turning on and off again, but although the main DELL screen came up the right way, the windows logon page onwards is sideways.

I am running XP professional if that helps at all.

Can't do that! How would I be able to feel superior to others then?????

Okay - I'm female, so I feel like that all the time.... (LOL!) :D:rolleyes:

It was simple in the end (as these things always are!) on your main desktop, right click the mouse and go to Graphics Options - there is a selection for rotation there and it changes everything. So you could go into work early tomorrow and turn everyones screens upside down.......... :rotfl:

Just so you know there is also a shortcut to change the orientation of the display (and probably how it happened in the first place)

Press Ctrl + Alt + directional arrows (up down left or right)

Only works with certain Intel graphics hardware as far as I know. You must have this type of hardware.

Must have those shortcuts - as DD was bashing the directional arrows at the time and leaning her other arm across the keyboard on the other side......
