Late Rooms - Misleading Prices

Be aware that when booking hotel through Late Rooms, the price stated as the price you pay at the hotel, IS NOT ALWAYS THE PRICE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY AT THE HOTEL. Also check your booking details with hotel DO NOT ASSUME BOOKING INCLUDES BREAKFAST ETC. You do not always get same deal when using late rooms as you would booking direct with hotel, also if there is a problem with booking, NOBODY WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DIFFERENCE IN COSTS. As you will guess had a problem with booking this weekend and found pricing to be VERY MISLEADING.

Bookings on LateRooms ONLY include breakfast when it says so. Usually breakfast is extra.
Entries on LateRooms are managed directly by the hotels themselves and not LateRooms.com - the hotels log in, add the hotel details and maintain price and availability.
You haven't had a problem with LateRooms.com, you've had a problem WITH THE HOTEL.
Please reply with the name and town of the hotel, then we can have a look and comment further.
I've used LateRooms.com on many occasions without any problems.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I booked 2 nights at Beauchamp Hotel in London. The Grange Group website would not let me book room for 3 persons so booked through late rooms, I trusted the booking would include one breakfast as shown on the Grange site.
Entered details as 2 Ad and 1 Child for me, and two sons, late rooms costed the rate at £310.00. Late rooms site states "This is the price you will pay at the hotel"" and this rate is per room and not per person". Once booking made confirmation showed extra costs for another person, but I believed that this was included in the price quoted. When checked into hotel was told extra charge for 3rd person sharing £23.50 per night.
Hotel room had two beds, two towels, two glasses and two cups and one tea bag between 3 persons, do not agree that extra charge was fair or justified.
Late rooms told me to contact credit card company, what has is got to do with them?
As a gesture the hotel provided breakfast on one morning, due to several other complaints we made and they assure me they have NOW changed the way they advertise room prices on Late rooms, too late for me!!!0
