    Hi,

I appreciate that you're having a tough time with finances but in case it hasnt occurred to you ; people like myself pay an extra £20 a year on my premium just to protect myself against people like you who have no insurance, doesnt seem fair to me.

I understand why you have posted this (and it isnt fair) but it doesnt help the OP at this time - she knows that she has been breaking the law and risks of fine and criminal record.

Well said, these are my thoughts.

I don't condone or encourage what the OP has done & I too get mad at people driving around with no Tax / MOT / Insurance but she doesn't come across as a serial law breaker & appears concerned at what she has done.

As policticians love to say 'we are where we are'. What has been done cannot be changed. I hope the OP leaves the car EXACTLY where it is until she can sort out the insurance situation i.e get some cover (preferable through one of the cashback sites lol!)

  • Someone has "bumped" my car and drove off, my car came out the bodyshop on Saturday and the bill was 320 quid to repair.

That was my christmas fund gone...............

I wish you all the luck in sorting your self out but please buy some car insurance cause its just not fair for the likes of us who do.

    All the best.
  • please try and get yourself some basic insurance ASAP before the car goes anywhere.... bumps to cars are irrelevant - they are only bits of metal and can be beaten into shape but if someone gets injured and needs permanent care for the next 30years that will cause you a lot more grief (and mega debt) than sorting out the current debt and problems of telling yr DH
