JUST A WORD OF WARNING IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOU HOME INSURANCE.
They no longer advise you if that you need a cctv after a drainage engineer had attended your property so make sure if you have called a drainage engineer out ask him if they are any further works that need doing.
Or best staying away from them all together i deal with them on a daily basis and they are in my opinion the worst home insurers i have ever dealt with.
You pay x amounts each month to them and you are only allowed 2 call outs a year. Best thing to do if you are told that you need a cctv of your drains is to say to the engineer can he call hh or hs and say the drain is still blocked that way he will get auth while on site to do the cctv. but if he calls saying he as got the drain flowing they won't pay for it.

Home Hotline has always been Homserve but they changed name to fit inline with the group of companies.
You can stay away but you can't get away as they do claims handling for most emergency insurance companies.0 -
Also worth noting is that all schemes run by them are not all the same, some offer unlimited claims etc.
also, some schemes run by them are offered as freebies with things like credit cards etc, so the morale of the story is "you get what you pay for"
Try shopping around for companies who offer home emergency insurance before taking what is offered.
I have personal experience of dealing with homeserve also on a daily basis and we yet have to write them off.
