I'm making a chocolate sponge/cherries variation of Eve's Pudding from the Be Ro and I have a cup of surup juice left over from the lidls jar of cherries. YUM
Is there anything I can make with this? A sauce to go with the pudding would be nice. I think it's too luxurious for custard.

Add a knob of butter and a level tbsp of cornflour to it, simmer gently, stirring well, until it begins to thicken, and serve straight away.
