Naughty FactFinders/Nielsen

The attitude of Factfinders - part of Nielsen - stinks so much. After a year and a half of religiously scanning shopping and earning points for doing so, I ordered 8 cinema tickets on 22nd August as my reward. They never arrived.

I phoned at the end of September, spoke to a helpful girl on the rewards line. She told me there had been a delay and they were sent "last week" and should be with me shortly. She added that if they didn't arrive within two weeks I was to call back.

Two weeks later (October 10th) they had not arrived. So I phoned again. Spoke to another helpful adviser, she said she'll chase it up. A couple days later she phones back to tell me that because “I didn’t report them missing within 28 days” they have decided not to reissue them.

I emailed Fact Finders to say I phoned at the end of September, they didn't take this on board. And they replied back saying I should have reported them missing within 35 days now - not 28 days as previously told. They need to sort out their policies between departments!

I've reminded them again that I phoned at the end of September. This was two weeks ago and they still haven’t replied, despite initially responding within 24 hours. A final email was sent last week asking them politely to respond. Still no response.

So due to inefficient customer service staff ignoring my emails and no one at Nielsen taking any form of responsibility I have to resort to sending letters by recorded mail. I get the feeling that I’ll be sending a bunch of letters before I get any help - and it’ll probably cost me more in time and postage than the tickets are actually worth!

Hope you got your tickets! Ive not ordered from them yet as I dont have enough points for anything decent even though Ive been scanning for about 18 months!

Sont suppose you know the website for their online catalogue?
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • hi, I have been with factfinders for 5 years, I have earned a new lawnmower, retails at £65 and a walker for my granddaughter retails at £40 also a home phone which would be around £40
though scanning is laborious, and boring, and slows down the task of putting the shopping away its dosen`t take that much longer, and if you train the whole family it is even quicker. it has become part of our house hold, and though the points are not much, and ordering can be difficult, though on line is better. its not bad to get something for a job you have to do anyway. :T:T

Don't these people that appear to sign up just to sing the priases of this company realise they are bumping a complaints thread?

Lots of folk don't read past the first post, so they are doing the company no favours.
