Try the Hotel Aloe, it's quite nice and if the map is correct quite close, it was a few years ago so I do not remember the other local hotels.

Link to a map I searched for, hope it helps.

  • Hi,
Paphos airport on a Wednesday is absolutely chaotic as for some reason every airline who fly into Paphos do so on a Wednesday. Having said that, April is quite early on in the year so that may make things a little less hectic. There are plenty of good hotels (whether they will be reasonable or not is another matter) within walking distance of the Amathus Beach. Hotel Avanti is virtually across the road, Cypria Maris just along the road and the Aloe has already been mentioned. A bit further along (left on leaving the AB) is the Alexander the Great Hotel. Someone I know booked their own flights , paid for the accommodation seperately and apparently saved money. Google the web site and have a look. By the way, AB is a really nice hotel. I had a very expensive cup of coffee there when it was first built. It definitely had the WOW factor.
  • The suggestions of hotels already posted are all in close proximity of the Amathus Beach, but are 4 star with prices to reflect. The Aloe Hotel and Avanti Hotel are across the road (not beach front - if you can call it a beach!!!) If you are looking at cutting the cost, check out the Paphos Gardens Apartments, or the Anemi Hotel Apartments both within easy walking distance, or just around the corner try the Dionysos Hotel - these should come out a lot cheaper.

I know Paphos very well, bought a home there and ended up with a husband!!!

Remember Greek Easter a very big occasion, I'm not sure when it falls next year. Also Easyjet are going to release the Paphos route fares this month.
