contributions based JSA_ what happens after 6months is up?

several interviews, countless cv's sent and applications made, but still no joy job wise.. now had letter from DWP saying cont. base JSA ends this month..
do I need to re-apply, or would there be another form of JSA available?

You will have to apply for income based JSA. This should be the same amount. They will help you do this when you sign on, but make sure you remind them at the time & don't miss the change over date, or you could miss out.0

Just to add, income based JSA is means tested so you may not get it, depending on your household income. Even if you aren't eligible, it's worth continuing to sign on as you'll get your NICs paid.0 -
jsa is only my income at moment, apart from rent/counciltax relief (those are paid direct).Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

You will need to complete a JSA3. Get in now and take it completed to your next signing after the conts have run out.====================================================

thanks to all- done income based claim at latest signing on- just 1 week old JSA due to be paid next week, with remainder ofthe period on new style.. just hope they hurry up with the forms..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
