Peanut Butter

  • I did not like Sanisburys peanut butter at all! It's far too dry (I like it when it goes a bit oily)
  • Marks and Spencers just launced their own. It's about a pound, cant quite rem e exact price, but still way cheaper than sunpride
  • I've notice this for quite a few products in the last few months own brand products vanishing or not being replenished for lengthy periods and only expensive ones in stock.
Never tried Lidl/ Aldi peanut butter but have been perfectly happy with Sainsbury's own brand/ Tesco etc. I'm on these boards too often not to grudge paying £2.20 or peanut butter lol:rotfl:

The Aldi PB is £1.80 for 500g. I think the best PB has to be Waitrose's Own for 80p for 340g. No brand snobbery intended it just tastes really really nice and is really really crunchy.
    Buy for value not cost.
    Feb Grocery = £55.87 / 80

Another vote for Lidl peanut butter here...it's much better than any other brand I''ve tried.

Their chocolate/hazelnut spread is far superior to Nutella or any other brand too.

    or 98p for 454g :)
  • I know what you mean! Went in to get tesco's peanut butter and there were no jars anywhere :( Sunpat just isn't that nice: it's too oily and sainsbury's was always too earthy for my taste! What am I going to do if I can't find anymore?!?!
