Just looked at my account and noticed the rate drop from 6.51 to 6.01, has anybody else noticed? or have I read it wrong!

Yes, their Interest Rates section shows the previous rate of 6.51 and the new rate of 6.01. Looks like I might be heading over to Egg.0
-
is the rate cut for the new online saver account or will it be for issue 3 too?
i've just moved money into B&B online saver issue 3 from KE.0 -
Don't get me started on this grrr, no courtesy letter or e-mail they just dropped it without any noticeLiquidity is when you look at your investment portfolio and **** your pants0

B&B just added the eSavings Issue 6 account at 6.10 gross
If you open one online you can then switch your existing balance into the new one. It's very easy and takes less than 24 hours to do.

Hi sorry maybe I'm just being thick but what do you mean but switch your existing balance into this one?
If you already have an esaving account with them wont the new reduced rate automatically apply now? Or are you saying something else?

If you do not open the new account you will only get the rate that applies to your current account. This way B&B benefit because it takes time for everyone to find out about the new account and switch and some never find out or dont bother to open the new one and get no benefit.Hi sorry maybe I'm just being thick but what do you mean but switch your existing balance into this one?

B&B are always doing this to their shame.Change is here to stay0 -

I'm beginning to regret opening an account with B&B, if they keep on changing their interest rates then it doesn't seem they are treating their customers fairly.
If I change accounts to the one that pays 6.10% (incl. bonus) then no doubt they'll cut the interest rate for that one too.... grrrrrrrrr
I much prefered Icesave - before they did the dirty on us!!0 -
If the BOE drop rates again they will probably launch eSavings Issue 7 and we'll have to switch from Issue 60

Scroll down to 'Account no longer available'
Look at the first line, i.e. Internet Saver (Issue 3) - Online - Variable Rate.
You can see the previous rate of 6.51% and the new one of 6.01%0
