Rayburn/Aga converting back to solid fuel

I have recently bought a house with two oil burning Rayburns which were originally converted from solid fuel to oil. I have access to a certain amount of firewood in and around my house but might need to buy more. Given the price of oil at the moment would I be better off converting at least one back to solid fuel burning? Is this possible, expensive?

Hi Mark,
As your thread has fallen down the Old Style board I've moved it over to the In My Home Board to see if you can get some replies from the experts there.
