Just got a letter through the post on this deal to existing customers. HSBC are offering 0% on balance transfers for 9 months (2.5% transfer fee).
I'm wondering whether to take this option up as I already have £4500 outstanding on that card at 15.9% with £500 left. I could shift some off another card thats at 17.9% but then I'd be servicing the 0% debt first wouldn't I? So my current debt gets more interest.
Or should I still take the offer?
