Did anyone receive this email from capital one? I think its a scam to get your details, but I'm waiting to hear back from CapitalOne if it is. It asks for all your details needed to sign in etc.

Opps looks like the website has now stopped working. Thank goodness I didn't give them my details!0

Definitely a scam - the website the link takes you to isn't even Capital One. Seems to be down now, maybe the ISP concerned has taken action already.0

Never, ever, ever respond to this type of e-mails, it is ALWAYS some scumbag trying to steal your money.
No reputable company would ever ask for this info. Do not give ANYONE your username or password for anything. It's not just the banks that are being targeted, anyone that takes payments online is open to this kind of fraud.
I REPEAT, NEVER GIVE YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD TO ANYONE.

It's a dead giveaway when they refer to you as "Dear xxxx Customer". No company you are registered with is going to send you an email addressed like that. They will always use your registered name.
It is also never a good idea to log into any site that you get to via any kind of link.
Always type in the companies URL yourself (or have it as one of your favourites).0
