If you speak to your supervisor and advise them that you've taken advice and are complaining to the regulator, it may nip any escalation on their part in the bud. They've already acknowledged the fall in tax credits by adjusting your payments down after the first annual review. Is this letter the result of the second review? It may be worth checking to see if the supervisor has changed, or it sounds more like some incompetent in the office has stumbled on your file and thought 'oh this isn't right....' etc etc.
They do sound like cowboys to me if that is what's happened.0 -
I have a review every 6 months.
I declare any bonus/overtime and they have 50%.
They tried to put my payments up, but I sent in a load of info I got from the net on the cost of living and petrol going up, so they haven't increased the amount since the start of 2007.0 -
I have been on an IVA with spectrum since 2005 and have been paying the same amount, but now my salary has tripled. I have never had a review or been asked to submit payslips should I be worried that they will ask me to repay a lot of money?
After reading this forum I have realised that I might have been misold this IVA, I had debts of about £5-6000 and no assets at all and was just asked to pay about £25 since my salary was not even enough to meet my basic needs!
Is there any way of changing from IVA to a dmp?
thanks0 -

I dont think you can - your best bet will be to speak to cccs. Im suprised you were allowed to get an IVA - normally they are for people with a minimum of 15k debt...Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0

you are not on an iva, you are on a dmp. if you are only paying 25 per month, then this is probably just spectrums fees.
get an update from spectrum on your outstanding balances then speak to another company to solve your problem properly now you can afford to0 -

insider66 is correct, you are not in an IVA, not with debts of 5-6K. If I were you I would check with Spectrum on the agreement, your creditors are not obliged by law to comply with anything Spectrum propose. If you are paying just £25 per month I doubt the creditors are getting anything paid toward the debt, and I am surprised that Spectrum would be interested in taking your case on, they can't be making any money!!0
