    I think it may have already been mentioned, but when I was a child, we had old shirt worn backwards as aprons/coveralls when we did anything messy like painting, otherwise, I'd tear them up and use them as rags. A while ago, I also made a small bag to hold my rummikub tiles, using the sleeve of at-shirt. I stitched in one of the drawstring toggles that you get with laundry tables, and it does a great job.

    keep it - if you need to do any decorating at least your oh will have a shirt that he can splatter with paint.
