Hello,
I've just upgraded to broadband. :j
I've set up Outlook express to receive e-mails on both my old dial up e-mail address and my new broadband e-mail address. This is working fine.
My problem is that I can't send anything. Outlook express is trying to send my e-mails via my old dial up account and I can't work out a way to stop this.
I'm sure it's something really obvious - I've e-mailed my providers customer support but I though you guys might have a quick solution?
Thanks.

Who is your new provider on Broadband0
-
When you are typing a message it should have a box running along the very top where you select which account to send the message by.
Also, if you go to Tools -> Accounts you should set the broadband account as default.0 -
The broadband provider is Virgin0

I've already done that.0 -
So open Outlook Express. Tools, Accounts Highlight the email account you need to mend, one at a time, then Properties, Servers. and in where it says smtp change that to mail.virgin.net
Just found a link http://www.virgin.net/customers/helpme/email/outlook5/12.html0 -
Thought I had done that before but it didn't work.
Had another go and after it initially telling me that I had the wrong user name and password, I've found out the problem there and now it's working.
Thanks very much for your help.0
