Click above for details about the 2009 Artist of the Year competition. There is an entry fee (or free if you are a member of the SAA).

Overall winner gets £2000 (£1000 cash and £1000 art materials) plus £500 art materials for the club/school etc of their choice.

Categories are:

1. Best Portrait or Figure - £100 worth of art materials
2. Best Abstract or Experimental Art - £100 worth of art materials
3. Best Still Life - £100 worth of art materials
4. Best Flowers or Gardens - £100 worth of art materials
5. Best Landscape or Woodland Scene - £100 worth of art materials.
6. Best Townscape or Industrial Scene - £100 worth of art materials
7. Best Waterscape, Boats or Seascape - £100 worth of art materials
8. Best Animal or Wildlife - £100 worth of art materials

You have to put your self as either professional, amateur, beginner, junior or young.
