we'd already got rid of one bed, we keep the mattress under Erin's bed for any guests/sleepovers....... she really needs/wants a desk/sofa soon and doesn't have the room as things stand.....

time for a rejigg of her room and throw stuff out!!

What about getting her a bed with a temp bed underneath? Is her room big enough for that?

    Evening all
Hope everyone is ok and hugs for anyone that needs them (IA, Snaggles)
Had a lovely day today, went to visit one of my oldest friends who is about to pop with her first baby. She has to have a c section a week today so will be the last time I get to see her before it comes along, so excited for her (IVF baby) but very broody and sad that I probably won't have anymore babies myself :(

Maz, Our Carl has one (he is 15) and really doesnt like it at all. He has the one from MFI that you posted the link to but his has a single futon chair underneath it and a computer desk.

They are really high and a pain in the bot to change the bedding:rolleyes: and the steps are bloomin freezing I have to pass Carl some socks up so he can put them on before he gets out of bed.

    Hello everyone by the way:D

Have you thought about getting a day bed (ikea do some really nice ones) that way she could have bed and change into sofa if she needed seating. You can stick another mattress underneath for guest to pull out and you would have room for a desk too?

have popped her dollies baby changing unit onto Freecycle, so that will free up some space! but where will i put the clean washing now???!!

thanks for all the input guys!

She has a perfectly good sturdy bed, and the spare mattress underneath for sleep overs... but i reckon if i could get her a nice foam sofa she would be happy to keep the bed she has, i could ditch the spare mattress and we could get some nice underbed storage baskets/boxes........

nice pink foam sofabed on argoose.....

thanks for listening to my rambles! slow chat day today innit!!

Maz it is really bad though, I was walking down the corridor at work tonight and with each step I was letting a little one out, you know when you have no control over them.:o

Good job the sound of my high heels masked the tooting:cool:

No smell though, just big parps.
