Morning all

Well thanks to bunny i now know its only 52 days till Christmas...If I start shopping now, it means I will have started christmas 51 days earlier than normal....not much chance of that happening:rotfl:

My friend from OZ rang yesterday and she wants me to go over next year for her 45th Birthday. Anyone know of a cheap flight place to oz......I would love to go.

Off to work today same as usual. I have loads of freelance work to do as well and I really must try and get it done this week...humph.....

Woo hoo....

Morning Sammy, Bunny and everyone else who follows.

I need to take my new car back to the garage today because the brake lights are on almost constantly. *sigh*

I rang the garage and they said the mechanic had probably tightened the handbrake too much when they MOT'd it - hope they know what they are talking about.

I've got quite a few things to do today, I think it will be good to keep myself occupied as I'm feeling distinctly tearful.

Well you know I would go in a shot! and according to OH so would he....although everytime I suggest it he has a list of reasons why we can't go. One of the reasons I am doing my chartered accountancy is so I have a better chance of getting in, although age is distinctly not on my side..

    :grouphug: snags........we all love ya:grouphug:

  • Morning all.

I'm able to get in here early today as I've got the day off work :j and seeing as I'm new I'd like to start involving myself a bit more in the general chat since you all seem such a friendly bunch. However today must be spent applying for jobs because the one I have ends on Friday and I don't know what to do next

I'm starting at 10 and trying to get on with it til 12 so if you see my light on before then you are officially allowed to give me a kick and remind me that without a new job I cannot have my new car or save for my mammoth spending spree at next yrs Clothes Show Live (yes next year!! cant possibly afford to go to this one)

So my laptop clock now says 9.58, I will post this and be off.

    Much Love

Morning all, hugs to all that need them today:grouphug: (I know very shady hug).

Lizzie my clock says 10.03 and your light is still on.

I've not been on here for a while due to family problems and spending a lot of time at the hospital with my sister and her husband, hopefully will try to catch up on any gossip over the next couple of days as children have inset days and not back at school until Wednesday.

    Snaggles-take care Hun.

    Chat later.

    Good morning

(((((hugs)))) to all those who need them; you may be in the middle of an emotional raistorm at the moment but good weather is just around the corner!

Though I much prefer "we don't get rainbows without rain"

I had a busy weekend. I cleared out 5 black bin liners of clothes from my wardrobe (and I still have a box of clothes stored, though some have been purged). I'e also filled half of Wayne's wardrobe with clothes to list on ebay. Now all I need to do this week is 1) take said bags to charity shops and 2) start listing the clothes on ebay (after taking photos, measurements and writing a spiel)!

At the end my wardrobe contained one jacket, two skirts and five tops (though the clothes from the laundry basket and ironing pile will soon fill it up again). I think Wayne was really shocked that I was so ruthless.

Anyway - in other news... I've won a competition. A blooming mooncup (google it). Guess it will sit gathering dust for the next six months or so!
