    It is myy sister, someone has installed it on her computer and sent themselves an invite for remote help....she doesn't want it and she certainly doesn't want remaote help from someone from there computer...... does that make sense?

    Sort of, But if someone sends you an invite, you have two options Accept or Decline.

    If she logs off the PC and then back on that will cut the connection, or you can
    also regain the control of your PC so whoever has control you can cut them off
    at any time, And they only get control if you agree.

    If you are sure you want to kill it do this.

    1) Go to Start > Run

    2) Type this exact command (you might want to copy paste):

    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%INFmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

    Have a look at the options set in Start => Control Panel => System => Remote and see if those are what have been changed...

    When they was setting up her computer they sent themselves an invite without asking her, and said oh...I can move your mouse when I am at my house...I get to see your screen in a little box on my screen!!!! OMG !!

    Yeah I did remote assistance with another user on this site last night (bethom)
    to install some difficult software, there is an option to cut the connection (regain control) at any time, they probably new this and were showing off..

    Ive done remote assist for 4years now even when it was in its infancy
    and even then the option to terminate the connection was there then.
