I'm sure I've recently read that Alliance and Leicester are now Santander and not MBNA,does that mean that a balance transfer would now be possible between Virgin and MBNA.Thanks.

MBNA only run the A&L cards. If Abbey card customer procurement was anything to go by, it'll be a good while before Santander/Abbey start offering their cards to A&L/MBNA cardholders.MRSTITTLEMOUSE wrote: »I'm sure I've recently read that Alliance and Leicester are now Santander and not MBNA
Not sure of the relevance of this question to A&L cards?does that mean that a balance transfer would now be possible between Virgin and MBNA.
Anyway, it's always been possible to BT between MBNA run cards...just not directly. You'd have to use their super balance transfer capability and route the transfer through a current account.0 -
Thanks,I never thought about the super balance transfer route.0
