Ok someone reassure me. Shoving all the rubbish from my desk into various drawers does count as tidying doesn't it? I am putting bits away elsewhere when I can!

In my book it does. Because later in the week pigpen will get us to clear/sort out a drawer.;);) So you'll have achieved 2 flylady tasks;);):rotfl:

    Hello and hugs to all,
DH's turn at Church this week and me and DS are home.
    So far I have:
    WM x 2
    Hang up x 2
Fold dry washing and put away
Sorted DS too small socks away.
Just off to make some blueberry muffins, and think about a lovely rub for the roast chicken, as well as peeling tats for dauphinoise later.
Take care everyone and hope to be a bit more around next weeks thread.

    :hello: hello everyone

Busy again so not a lot of posting this week. I need to catch up with my e-mail fairly urgently as well.

House is ok, I am trying to get back into the discipline of tidy before I switch the internet on. I need to hoover but thats about it - dogs, cats and small children, I always need to hoover  .

My big job for today is to clean out the insides of my car and DH's old one, and have a play with some T Cut before it rains again. Someone is coming to value them tomorrow and we need to get rid of at least one of them this month before tax and mot are due. DH has washed them and scrubbed the wheels, but he has had to go and collect DSS1 so the rest of it is down to me.

On the positive side N Rock are passing on the full 1.5% so our expected £500 per month mortgage increase will be closer to £200, still a lot but more manageable. :o Time to head back over to the grocery challenge I think.

Only got as far as sticking the WM on and sorting the photos (which took ages!). I've now got a set of pics and need to nip to boots instant kiosk and print them...it's a work thing as I'm at the conservative women's conference of all places tomorrow talking about our project and thought some pics would be a good thing. Bit annoying to ahve to do work stuff at a weekend but never mind. I'm going to dry my hair and then go out and get them sorted, plus need to get some milk...

  • Hello everyone - hope you are having an enjoyable Sunday.

My first week back to proper flying and I've done quite well. House is looking tidy (apart from kitchen which never looks completely tidy  ) and I am going to cook a roast and catch up on the ironing this afternoon.

See you on the next week thread!

Have just got back from town...........decided to do home colour correction last night (colour too dark), put colour I thought would work on top and now look like a ginger biscuit   - that'll teach me (I am naturally dark brown and have very dark eyebrows - ginger biscuit is NOT a good look with my skin). Spent time on L'Oreal site looking for help/inspiration and ended up going to Boots to get alternative colour.
I know I shouldn't have done it, but I really can't afford to have it coloured at the salon (nor can I afford a colour correction, or for that matter a cut & blow dry at my usual salon any more ) so will have another go this evening. If worst comes to worst, will wear Goth Wig I bought last year for Halloween Party :D LOL!

In the meantime, will catch up on list - have cleared my wardrobe of too big stuff, too small stuff (i.e. stuff I KNOW I will never get into again and indeed, some of it is old enough that even if I could get into it, I shouldn't IYSWIM),too-tatty-even-for-gardening-in stuff. Wardrobe now immaculate (if rather bereft of clothes). DH wants to know who I am and what have I done with his wife!

Will catch up reading the posts later.
