Low voltage not bright enough

Hello

We bought some nice low voltage ceiling lights from BHS when the sale was on.

Problem is they are just not bright enough, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the transformer so I can put in higher wattage bulbs.

At the moment it has 12 x 10w g4 bulbs and I would like to put in 20w.

Thanks

it's not only the transformer but the fittings that are rated for 10w each, low energy bulbs have a lower wattage so an equivalent 20w enery save G4 would be ok

    Use Google !

First of a multitude of hits if you just input '20w G4' :-

..... also have a look on the shelves at B&Q - they're carrying a big range of bulbs in larger stores.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

This NO Equivalent 20w enery Saving G4 lamp .... LV Luminaires are Enery Saving!!!!

You would have to change your transformer but It Depends on the the out put voltage of the luminaire g4 come in 6volt, 12volt and 24volt

But how bright do you want it .....the luminaire must be installed in a very big room if 120watts is dim. if it is i would say install more lights and don't upgrade the one you have gone...

I would like 180w, that what what I had previously.

Can I use 6v 20w bulbs? At the moment they are 12V 10W
