Best time to buy a new PC??
Comments
-
Never a good time to buy, prices are always coming down
Intel usually reduce their cpu prices during Jul/Aug and Jan/Feb so usually I wouldn't recommend getting a PC in Dec or Jun.
But the best advise is to buy the best PC for your budget and then forget about PC prices for a few years.0 -
thanks everyone, I think for now I'll keep an eye out for any stand out deals or failing that wait and see what happens in the January sales.
One more thing, I know that as new technology comes through it pushes down the price of what it's replacing so are there any major new developments coming through anytime soon?
If so are they worth waiting for and how long do these things usually take before they impact and start driving down the price of the older stuff?0 -
Buy one when you need one. The ones in the sales are pretty much always end of line models.
There is absolutely no point in waiting for new developments to come through before buying a PC because there's always a new development coming through so prices are always altering.0
