I have managed to get a job which i start tues 4th nov i have got to sign off jsa as i have only been on jsa since 11 aug 08 which is less then 26 week wot will i get when i sign off as the job is 2 weeks in hand i have to work will i get any extra money and wot about my hb and c/tax rebate i get as that will stop il have to make a new claim but i wont be entital to extented run on

Nothing. HB and CTB will stop but if I were you, I'd tell them yourself to avoid an overpayment as JSA can take some time to inform them.0

Check that the Jobcentre cannot do you a free monthly bus pass. In West Yorkshire for example there is a special scheme running with day 1 eligibility.

ty all replys it dont give you no insentive to come of benefit and back to work if its less then 26wks on jsa so basicly i get jack (no help to tied me over till i get payed ) NO WONDER PEOPLE DONT WANT TO WORK GOES TO SHOW WOTA CRAP GOVERMENT THIS COUNTRYS GOT
