Excellent...if your name's Sid!!!"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100

British gas have offered to cap electricy costs until 2012 for an extra 7.4% on top of their current tariff, is this a good deal?:o
The cost is expected to come down in the new year. Just go for the current cheapest supplier / tariff - for us British Gas Click Energy 6 is the cheapest for electricity and Ebico for the gas. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Go for the British Gas Click Energy 6 Tarriff as suggested by BexTech.. BG allways maintain it is the cheapest tarrif over all energy suppliers.. terms and conditions are they you must be on a monthly DD and that you get your bill online. Wholesale costs are coming down, but gas and electricity are bought approx 6 months in advance.. but on the Click Energy 6 tarriff.. even if it did go up slightly in early 2009, it would still be much cheaper than the standard tariff + 7.4% premium. Hope this helps. Also remember on the price guarentee till 2012.. you are fixed at those prices, so should prices come down you would be paying the higher rate, and if you wanted to switch suppliers, or change to another tarriff you would incurr a 65£ charge on gas and £35 charge on electric.Sunny in Southampton.0
