  • Thanks suisidevw - was wondering whether to do the helicopter trip or not. I suppose we're going to be dependent on the weather. I'm sure DD & DH will be up for swimming with dolphins. DS is a non-swimmer so I'll have to stay on the boat with him.

Couldn't resist it, I just had to get the mortgage to under £120k so today I OP'd £2343.16 and my mortgage now stands at £119,999.99!!!

Some of you out there will be raving that its not a nice round figure... You know who you are!

Will update sig when its not so hot & I can concentrate better.

    Hi All

Mortgage interest was calculated yesterday and the new figures are:

    Mortgage interest £589.16
    Interest after offsetting £231.86
    Value of offset £357.30

So, have paid an additional £408.18 off the mortgage - see revised sig for update.

We have reduced the mortgage by £10k since November
    Yay!

    Hi chick01

If you do a search for 'stooze' or 'stoozing' on the main site Martin will be able to explain it much better than I can :money:

    Happy reading

    Hi GM4L
If you're planning to go this winter my advice would be to book your flights as soon as you can.
    .............
Right, now I'm going to book my dolphin/whale trips. I have been advised to book well in advance (6 months is a little extreme I know, but my 0% for purchases deal on my CC runs out this month & doesn't need paying until the end of the year), so Kaikoura here I come...!

A bit late(doing some catch up) Thanks for the info very usefull, we have friends on the SI and would also like to try and fit in a cruise, we should have loads of time, redundant at the end of the month, the dates have had to change due to family so it might be next year now, there were the great prices this year NZ and Aus flights < £400 so will have to hope they happen again.
