Washing Machine - HELP!

Hi,
i have a samsung washing machine model P1253.
The drum is not turning around when on a wash. When i put it on a spin it worked fine though.
i've had a look in the manual but it doesn't mention anything about the drum and their is no error code coming up on the screen!
does anyone know what the problem could be
