Loaded onto my memory stick.
Can any tell me if the notes column can be added to line by line. When adding a few notes they run horizontally off the screen.
Appears to be good enough though.

Which version are you using?
I use V0.3.3 of KeepassX, which is the Linux version, and that now has three panels. The second panel has a "Comments" field runs off the edge of the screen as you describe, but the third panel - which shows the full details of whichever account you have highlighted - shows the "Comments" field in full, line-by-line.
If you have the latest version, you may just need to turn on the third panel via View, Show Entry Details.0 -
No luck I'm afraid.
I don't do Linux. Happy with Vista. My ver no is 1.44. No option to open screen you suggest but thanks anyway.
One wonders why when some banks ask, D.O.B. fave place, memorable date and more that these cannot be displayed in a row, top to bottom.
Apart from that, to be fair this program is good, though I will still look around for what I want !!!!!!!!!!0 -
Up until now I'd made the (incorrect) assumption that KeepassX was just a straight port of Keepass into Linux, but the user interface is completely different!
I noticed that version 2 is out now in Beta, but the screenshots suggest that the user interface is pretty much the same.
Have you taken a look at Password Safe?
http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/
I've not tried it, but it's Open Source, and the original design was by Bruce Schneier, so it should be well engineered.0
