Help please

I have a problem with my emails I am able to send but not receive I have spoken to orange and they seem to be a waste of time. The problem is I cannot receive emails to my orange inbox but I am able to send them my wifes email is also orange on the same computer she can send and receive OK therefore I do not expect it to be a firewall issue.
Gratefull for any advice.

    Thanks for reply have checked settings and they are the same.

  • This looks like a problem with orange. I have found another forum today about this. several people have reported this error. I have had no emails for 48 hours now. I phoned orange this morning (at 50p per minute) and they told me that others have reported this, and that their techs are looking into it to see if there is a problem.

    I just wish that they would put a notice on their website to let us know what's going on.

    Please don't go adjusting your email settings, it may just cause more problems.

    same problem here. Can send emails but cannot receive them and have not received anything since noon Friday.

  • Monday at 7.21 am and still no emails from orange. They told me yesterday morning it would be 24 hours, I have just read on another forum they told another user on Sunday evening it would be 24 hours!
  • Update at 9.00 monday morning, I have just spoken to orange again, and no word yet when it will be fixed. "try another 24 hours" was the suggestion!!!

    I suggested that they put a status statement on the website!
  • Emails have started coming through now. I have just recieved 5. I am expecting around 50, so hoping that they are not all lost!
