My daughter and her boyfriend are planning to go to the USA next Sept, they are wanting to do Route 66 on a Harley, (members of HD),renting it out there
and then booking into motels etc daily.
What sort of travel insurance should they have ? how much cover, the bike would be insured etc.
How should they pay for the motels etc.
How should they take their money ? travellers cheques / credit/ debit cards/ cash ?
Any advice would be welcome!

your looking at $40 upwards for a motel room , $40 might not be that great budget for for around $80 ish for a okay place but still check out the cheaper ones and see if they suit their tastes
travel insurance...i go on travelsupermarket.co.uk and put in my details , you should get decent cover for cheap
money wise ive always found travelers cheques a complete pain anywhere away from toursit places , take a visa credit card and a nationwide visa is a cheap way to get money out of the wall...theres atm's everywhere0
