I have a abbey visa electron card can i use this card as a debit card in shops for petrol for example or shopping ? OR can this card only be used to draw money out of a machine .

I've got this card too - the vast majority of shops will accept Electron as a debit card
Also, PayPal and online stores accept it too. However, the only time I've found it isn't accepted is at some train station ticket machines
