This is an old thread I know but my EPS did fail within weeks after writing the above post.:mad:The complete column had to be replaced under warranty. As with most cases of failure it was the torque sensor.
This is a common fault that Vx will not acknowledge. If it fails out of warranty, even just out, they refuse to pay for or even contribute to what is an expensive (circa £1000 at a main stealer) fix unless pushed very hard! Even then there's no guarantee they will.0
