First Direct New Account £25.00 Credit

Further to the J Vine - M Lewis money programme about opening an account with first Direct and get £25.00 credited to your account, we opened an account on the internet and did not recieve the £25, after contacting first direct by phone they have told us that savings accounts were not eligable (only current accounts were eligable) for the £25 credit, can anybody out there confirm this, we think it stated just open an account with first direct. ???
