This tip works for me.
Tinnitus can be a beggar, I've discovered if I concentrate 100% on increasing the volume of the stupid sounds, they quickly fade and vanish until the next one starts up. As far as I can figure out, it's something to do with the brain getting bored with the sound and gives up !
Sounds weird I know, but just posting in case this tip helps someone else......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I have had treatment for Meniere's for several years but when my vertigo and pain was at it's highest I was diagnosed with Basilar Artery Migrain. Beta Blockers helped then and I managed to get off them 4 years ago and just coped on the Meniere's Serc16 but after a virus in January I now have the Artery problem again which is making me miserable. I saw a new Neurologist at Hope Hospital in Salford who put me on an epileptic drug Topamax (apparently it's the same part of the brain) but I can't tolerate it as it makes my tinnitus unbearable. Over the summer I managed on Serc and Amytriptaline to help me sleep but for the past 2 weeks I have been constantly in pain and dizzy, feeling really fed up.Panda on My Shoulder
If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it :rotfl:0 -
thats how i feel most of the time panda and its getting me down i can relate to those whove had it years and tells me it does get easier!!!!!!!!! till ive experienced itmyself i find it rather frightening at the moment and dont wishto go anywher near the front door, ive taken my serc every day and still im being sick dizzy as if im on a boat and this is continously every day, as for complaining against the drs ive seen so many drs over the yrs id not know who to complain about, one of the surgeons in my younger days removed my ear drum without my parents of my concent apparently it was in such a state afrer a mastoid op they had no alternative but to remove it?????????? this i did question, and was told i had no choice, i am not happy but what can i do?
theres nothing they can do except try B.A.H.A which im quite against as ive tried living with one hearing aid for a few months tolet air get in my ear and to my dissatvantage the air hasnt cleared the infection, sp for them to give me B.A.H.A to clear the infection isnt going to workand just leave me with hearing aids drilled in my head that i dont want and makes it much more obvious im deaf with 2 big domino shapes stuck on the side my head, and also really easy to cause damage if i was to recieve a slap on them?
this im scared to have done.
kind regards
