Ebay - who makes money from this?

  • hi, i think it depends on what your selling on ebay- peopel wont pay top dollar for things atht cost a lot to post- so dont expect much for books- youre better off on amazon for that or a second-hand book shop may take them off your hands.
good quality second-hand branded or designer clothes, unwanted unused toiletry gift sets or samples and vouchers fro stuff you dont need, (especially nappies) are snapped up.

  • I've found that. It takes up so much time to package the stuff up and wait in the queue at the post office. But I suppose its all worth it when the money comes in. I got out of debt because of ebay. So I owe it everything really.

Buy a load of stamps of various denominations from the post office, and get from them a tarrif of postal charges. Go to a stationers and invest in a postal weighing scales, if you do not already possess a reliable set of scales. You can then save queueing time by applying the stamps yourself. Then you just walk into the post office, open up the shutter and put the parcels in there.
If you don't want to do that, turn up at the post office at about 1630, and usually you will have the place to yourself.
Small change can often be found under seat cushions.
