Easyjet help please

Hi I have booked flights with easyjet and have a couple of questions:

If I want to add another suitcase to my booking will it cost me more than if I had added it when originally booking?

We have two disabled people in our party and have asked for wheelchair assistance, does anyone know if they get to board first and if the rest of their party boards with them or has to wait in line?

Thanks guys.

I suspect, but don't know, that they would board you at the same time so that you are with them and can look after them in the event of an emergency. In terms of adding luggage Ryanair charge the same price.

Extra bags at checkin willl cost an extra £12 or at least that was our charge so if an amend of booking is cheaper do that, or just take the number of bags and weight allowance you have booked.

I flew with Easyjet last week. On both the outward and inbound flight the boarding order was strictly enforced as I saw some elderly disabled persons refused boarding before SB group.
    • Group SB: Passengers who have purchased Speedy Boarding/Speedy Boarding Plus
    • Group SA: Passengers requiring special assistance and families (maximum 2 adults) where at least one child is aged 5 years or under.
    • Group A: (reserved for passengers who have checked in online, and the first 30 people who check in at the airport)
    • Group B
I purchased SB for my family as being half term I guessed (correctly) the flights would be full.

If you add your suitcases online before checking in with Easyjet, it costs as much as if you'd have done it when you made the flight booking.

    It actually has some advantages:

    1. You can then pay for that part of the costs with a credit card without the added charge (so pay electron/debit for the flights, then add suitcases with a credit card)

    2. If you book immediately with suitcases they are automatically charged for out and in bound flights. I sometimes only need a suitcase inbound, so only add it before checking in for the inbound flight.

It's a few years ago and has probably changed, but travelling with a disabled passenger we boarded after everyone else (by lift as the plane wasn't on an airbridge). The crew had saved row 1 seats for us.

They didn't reserve row one seats on outbound or inbound flights when I flew this week. We had front row seats on return leg but were beaten to them outbound:D

I don't understand why Easyjet don't allocate seats.

If wheelchair passengers need boarded using an ambilift to the aircraft they will normally be boarded first irrespective of the 'speedy boarders'. This would normally happen where the aircraft is not connected to an airbridge. When an airbridge is in use then the speedys might board first but the front rows of seats will be reserved for the wheekchair passengers (seats 1e, 1f). That is the usual procedure and only fails if the crew have not been informed of wheechair passengers before boarding commences.
