Question about tax credits - filling in the form

A word of advice - any letters included with the claim form itself can get lost as there are literally hundreds of envelopes being opened in the processing office and letters, birth certificates, payslips etc have a habit of going missing.
Don't staple anything to the form but try a decent paperclip so that it stays together.
When TCO have received your claim form you should call them to make make sure they have a note on the computer which includes the details of the lettrer.
If they do not you should ask them to update your details and if not possible to add it the household notes and/or "free format change of circumstances screen". They will know what you mean.
The "free format CoC screen" is where your changes are noted until your claim has processed and when processed the changes/updated are applied to your claim.0 -
subsoniccoyote - Thanks, I've already posted it now but will definitely ring them in a couple of days to make sure they've got all the right info

Kei - If you had given me constructive advice instead of stating the obvious and jumping to conclusions I would have listened and been grateful for it but you didn't.
Anyway it's all done and dusted now so thanks everyone for your replies
 Think happy & you'll be happy
