Hi All
I live in a medium-sized 2-bed flat . The block is about 10yrs old. Today whilst insulating the doors, I thought about the boiler. There are some links to pics below . I was just wondering weather it is worth putting some insulation around the boiler ? If so what type ?

Thanks
Mehul

Lag the pipes and leave the rest alone would be the best plan.Mine needed a new fan so that must be whats wrong with yours:D0

Are you referring to the boiler or cylinder?
The cylinder should have insulation within the outer casing and with regards to the boiler itself, absolutely not.0 -
So basically, all I need to do is lag the pipes. I was thinking about insulating the cylinder ( the round thing that sits on the floor ) , would that help keep water warm ? Sorry about the noob questions !
