Has anyone dyed a leather sofa?

I had an idea about dying my leather sofa and it turns out that you can get kits to do it, for example this http://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Leather_Colourant_Kit.htm
I would rather pay someone to do it for me though, just so there is no mess. Has anyone done this?

I would imagine that it will be difficult to ensure that the new colour is 'fast'. It could come off on you and your clothing as I notice it is a waterbased product. Leather will absorb a lot of this product quickly as it is very porous. I wouldnt risk it. These products might be more suitable for restoration of small areas that have been damaged or scuffed.0

ive used that very product on my leather car seats
it doesnt rub off , flake off, peel up blah blah , its very good stuff works just as advertised when you follow the instructions..and a little goes a long way , the leather doesnt soak it up
youd idealy want the sofa in a empty garage or something incase you have any spills
i think furniture clinic can put you onto a local agent that can do it if you want0
