my housing benefit goes in 4 weekly like everyone else
my rent is per calender mth
so i just set up a standing order for same date every mth
i have a shortfall of 75 a mth to pay too so i find it easier to keep an eye on the bank a week or so before to check i have enough in to cover rent0 -
most, THATS MOST, councils can now make payments monthly. its a pain in the !!!! for our system at work not sure about other LAs which is probably why they dont advertise the fact that it can be paid monthly.
